Not because it’s hard, but because we’re broke and in debt, because we’re stupid, the rocket is stupid, and we think that fighting a bunch of stupid wars and being stupid is more important than solving any of our pressing environmental problems, for instance – reusable launch vehicles.

This is NASA and our government at work, folks. We don’t even get what we pay for anymore.
